'Production log - 3'

1) What progress did you make since your previous entry?
The progress that I have accomplished since my previous production log entry is the completion of filming has been done however there are a few shots that need to be re-done. I have also completed the introduction for my post production stage of my documentary enabling me to a good follow as I have included a range of cutaways.
2) What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
During this week I didn't face any logistical challenges which benefited me effectively as this saved time.
3) What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
The technical challenges I had faced this week was based on saving my footage onto a scratch disk which didn't work however I managed to overcome this situation by re-starting the process from the begining in order for it to be working correctly.
4) What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?
The targets that I hope to achieve before my next entry is to complete my documentary to a half way point as this enables me to have time to re-do shots as well as reaching the deadline efficiently.

'Production log - 2'


1) What progress did you make since your previous entry?
Since my previous entry I managed to complete a load of filming ranging from different sections from the narrative arc. Some of these sequences included of interviews, vox pop, opening and closing sequences and summaries too. I have also  booked in my final interview from  an expert which will take place this week.

2) What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
During this week we had faced logistical challenges from the un-level flooring (surface) which effected the steadiness of the camera. We managed to overcome this challenge through the use of finding objects to put underneath the tripod in order to make it steady and look professional throughout this process.

3) What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
During the production section of this week we didn't face any difficulties what would specifically impact any of the filming as which enabled us to film all my essential footage without any hassle.

4) What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?
The targets that I hope to achieve before my next entry is to start all my necessary graphics and the rest of the filming that will be done this week as this will enable me to move on to the editing stage more efficiently as I will be able to link the graphics the relevant  effects relating to each section of the narrative arc.

'Production log - 1'


1) What progress did you make since your previous entry?
As this is my first production log entry I have managed to complete all of the key documentations relating to the pre-production stage as these range from call sheets, risk assessments, crew list and many more. These will enable me to perform all the possible requirements to the best of my ability as I am aware of what is needed to be done through each of the documents.

2) What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
During this week I did not face any logistical challenges as this was simply straight forward completing the all the necessary documents for pre-production section.

3) What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
The technical challenges that I had faced were to do with the access to the internet as when uploading some documents to sky drive I was not always able to connect. However I managed to overcome this through seek some assistance once this had worked I was permitted to upload all my essential document for this stage.

4) What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?
The targets I plan to achieve before my next production log entry is to film some sequences locally which will include of the vox pop question (interviews) as well as the opening section of my documentary. This will enable me to get the first section of my documentary complete and out of the way. However once I film each stage I will need to re-view each footage in case of any shots need to be redone.

Questions for David Hughes, an expert I will be interviewing in the fourth section of the narrative arc.
